Thanks matt, I am thinking I might just scratch it and start over with a night scene instead of the day shot I got right now.. Maybe still not sure. Again I can take harsh crits

night idea is brilliant
but then again, it means doing everything over again huh?..
maybe use the Image>adjustment tools to lay out the night atmosphere and then fine tune it.. just a thought.

..yup blue moonlight would rock for this scene. she's frightened so night is the right way to go.

oh i forgot, in the window, use the same bg as on the side.
maybe a tank coming forward from the side will be cool. and some soldiers on the side of it (dark outlines of soldiers will do.)

I like it. I really feel uncomfortable looking at it (in a good way).
I don't get what's going on perspectively but that might just be me.
I kinda like how the different colors for the foreground and background divide the picture.
However the background seems to draw more attention than the girl.

A night scene ... that would completely change the picture. Why don't you finish 2 versions? Hehe...

I really love the bright and yet disturbing atmosphere ... I think it's a good idea not to show what she is actually scared of.

Well I decided to hold off on the night scene for now, and just redo the background

AndyT; hey thanks that was the reaction I was hoping I would get out of someone. Lol as for the 2 versions I might have to do that, my sister will force me to do one where she gets saved

Eyalyab; thanks for the comment. Probably won�t put the actual cause of her fear in the image I didn�t want to get to literal with it

one more update redid the BG.. i think it works better now probably need to up the contrast now that i look at it

think now i just need to clean it up a bit

i thought the cause of her fear was pretty obvious (it's war. she's alone. she has to survive. etc..) but i thought a tank or enemy soldiers would add to the tension.
oh well, it looks great as it is. good job.
think about that nightfall redo though
