I drew this a while ago when we had a loss in the family. I just got around to coloring it, I think it turned out pretty good. As you can tell I just NEEED A WACOM!!! But I'll keep going with a mouse 'til the wife desides to donate to the I NEED A FRIGGEN WACOM NOW fund!!
Alone
Took me 10min to draw, and an hour to paint.

hehe, This is crazy. Am I the only one who is commenting on your work.?
Anyway, I feel the same way as you I really need a wacom, my hand is almost falling off after painting for 2 hours with the mouse...hehe
I think the shading on the last one is cool but it would be nice with more muscles on the Al Ian...hehe...but thats just me and my muscle fascination on comic characters.
anyway, good work.
take it easy

Nice effect & interesting style. As far as C&C, the main problem I see in the picture is the cast shadow. the light source that you show comes from the top but the shadow you have is from a light that would be in low in the back.
I hope this helps. _________________ ZeeWire

Al Ian: I like the picture of "walk with god" It make me think about the meaning every day. I like the way you paint god very big and feel safe walk by him.
well this is another picture you did.
I put your picture up. If you have up load your picture on any server. you can show your picture here rather then give link.
Keep paint. Mouse or webcom doesn't matter. They all tool. The matter is creative mind. I like how you think.

the meek shall inherit the earth. if he can do everything just with his will, then why would he have to be lifting weights. i always imagined god as a she anyways, but always pretty skinny. just my opinion |

Samburger - That I understand, but would God need to lift weights to have muscles? Wouldent God know that to many, a big person would seem more "protecting" then a scrawny guy like myself? God being the loving father attempting to care for his flock, wouldent he (at least at times) apear as safe and protecting as possible?
God being, ya know, God, probably dosent have a real body as you and I see one as it is. But you cant just draw emotion, you have to give it form, and this is how he feels to me. Loving and protecting like no other can. _________________
