Hey and thanks tigern. I believe the right word for Tusch Pennor is "pen and ink marker" but these were so cheesy and cheap so I guess they were only made for the children market...hehe the cost 20:- kr...hehe

They look nice both, lacking of some anatomy issues though. What I miss most in your drawings is the presence of perspective, and I think this is what your drawings could make twice as good. Depending on where you want to go with your drawings, I would suggest you to get an anatomy book, perhaps you know Andrew Loomis. He also teaches how to draw the figure in perspective, too.

I don't draw for that very long, but I can remember the problems I had when started drawing figures. Try to think of the figure and its measurements and weight in the 3 dimensional space and draw many many sketches in different poses and perspectives to get a feel for it. What I did wrong for a long time was trying to draw the figure with the first line in a clean manner. This is perhaps possible but it's much easier to work looser and at first just suggest the position of the shoulders, the hands, feet etc. and going more detailed later.

It's a bit crappy and old, but perhaps this animation helps you in some way. And hey, if I'm telling stuff you alreday know for years, bweheh, then forget what I said. =)

Hey there Brainwash and thanks for the comments.
I am having big troubles with muscles still but I think that I have started to make them a little better at least..hehe.. And I was also noticing as you said the perspecitve is really confusing actually.
Well back to the painting and sketching again.
and also that animation is really good, did you make it Brainwash?

Dear Matthew: I didn't realize there has a thread call "Dear Matthew". I was see you posting images for long time and think maybe can help you by over draw your image. My friend just keep posting. No matter what kind of critic all helps. I like your atitute. I can see you are very friendly and gentle. Keep trying. Good thing about art field. Any kind of styly can be art.

Matthew - just ignore the flame wars. I read reputation doesn't matter @ Sijun and that is true. No matter how you behave you'll always get critiques and comments.And I think nobody insulted you who's opinion matters here .

You know the loomis books? You could read about perspective and anatomy. Don't just look at the pictures! (Thats what I used to do too much.)
Maybe don't post everything you draw.
For practice you can copy the mannekin figures with a pencil. I couldn't come up with a figure drawing with correct anatomy. You have to read and practice before you can.

Alright Matthew. Still improving bro! However I reckon it might be worth, instead of, say, 3 pics taking an hour each, doing one 3-hour pic, maybe using a reference.

Sometime I wait and wait. not much people commend. You spend time give people all kind commend. That why I can see you are very nice person.
