Hey...

I been working with photoshop for about 4 months, I was thinking that I was pretty good, then I happened to come to this site and see what you CAN do with photoshop and other proggies, my god...Was I in for a wakeup call, some of the stuff is really amaazing and inspireing...

I have only done about 20 images with my wacom, and they are not that good, mainly training, doing stuff with photo references and such, but I now I will also try to study on this site and hopefullt I will learn alot from it!

Here is some stuff I have made!

Terminator:

Fantasy:

I want this:

Self portrait:

I would really like to know more of how to use photoshop, I am a total noob and I think my techniqe aint that good, here is a tutorial I made explaining it http://www.hemsida.net/sleepwalker/tutorial/...

PS: If you have seen these images on this board before it was my brother who posted them!

i really like your pieces...you're into realism i can tell...i especially like the way you do the reflections on the metal on the bike and terminator...
another thing i noticed is that your style is somewhat of a blurry kinda style...
sharpening those edges would really improve those drawings ---very very nice though---and WELCOME!!

Thanks guys...

The_Insider: No, im not really into realism, I was planning to do about 1000 images from photo refs. to learn, So far these is what I got, and yeah they are a bit blurry, but that is because I used the smudge thing to get smooth edges, dont master any other way to do it...

Keep up the good work, Nice metals and I love the light play from the self portrait. You're on the right track.

Hey there Sleepwalker, and a helluva way to make an entrance, hehe!

Great stuff you've got there. I agree with the comment on the loose edges, but the smudge and blur tools are really handy in photoshop though. So I guess it's a matter of balancing or something...

Looking forward to seeing you loosen up a bit, experiment and also refine your 'realistic style'.

Good stuff.

Thanks zeewire!

Sukhoi: Mmm, thank you, I agree I really need to learn other ways to get smooth transition between colours, I will probably do some more realistic work, and also do "out there" as well, but I havent exactly used my wacom alot the four months I have had it, so im not very good with it yet, and four years ago I lost my ability to draw lineart, due to stupid things I did!

But I will hang in there...Hopefully with this board my skills will improve alot!

Alot of refs. were used!
