Mmmm... I think the forums are going on quite nicely lately, with nearly no flames, people willing to teach, and Craig posting frequently. I remember the era of the flame wars as the bad age of Sijun. I hope it doesn't start again. Even FLAT666 is quite self-controlled now.

i was actually pretty amazed at the amount of quality stuff in the finished work forum when i looked at this a few weeks ago.. a huge improvement, compared to, say, the fall a year or so ago.. more talent than crap there now. yummy.

though the speed drawing and propeller threads were inspiring and depressing.. more depressing than inspiring. i'm itching to start drawing again but i've lost all the little knowledge and skill i ever had. grrh. maybe i should go to dbm or something for perspective.......
