I like the look of it, but since its the cover of yre magazine....it just doesnt stand out too much "doesnt have the will to attract the reader in and want to read on". hmm.....Mby add a hardcore fight or crash in the background giving it a "piece in da foreground" and "murder/action in the background". That should give some of the necessary colour contrast and definately mood contrast. I think I'm critting way 2 much 4 my age, but I'm just giving you my thoughts  |

I reckon it's the lighting.
It's not very comprehendable.
And also your choice of style makes black pretty common, whcih looks a little funny - all the same, its almost there. |

Lighting?
Heck, I dunno, as I've said before, I'm very new to this scene, but trying to think through problems appeals to me as an efective way of learning, so, perhaps:
Perhaps strong lighting does not go with that style..?
But inspace, on the moon, with no atmosphere t diffuse light, there's only the harsh, direct light from the sun and the reflected light of the ground surface. |
