So what kind of pets does everyone own? What is everyone's favorite animal? Just curious. Contrary to my name, I dont own any cats, but if it was up to me, I would. We just have strays that I feed, plus to iky dogs! Just kidding I love all animals...even my stinky mutts. Even if one of them is named Cat. LOL.

I had 6 cats and a huge dog at one time. *whew*

The weirdest thing I've ever seen my cats do:

One night(3am), I heard them running like a wild herd in Africa upstairs, so I snuck up to see what the HELL they were up to. When I got up the stairs, I saw them sitting in a perfect circle facing each other, batting something back and forth like they were playing soccer.

I took a closer look--a dead rat!

My fav animals- Wolves and dolphins. Cool and cute.

I have two cats - Mango and Gizmo. They are both completely insane. Here's my crazy Gizmo story which I chopped from another thread:

Ok... first off, look at this picture:

This is what gizmo looks/acts like. He's a little bigger than that now, but I've yet to find a picture that captures his personality so well as this one. (we don't have any photos of him developed yet) So just remember this kitty while I tell the story, hehe.

I've been expecting a delivery guy all day to bring us our washer/dryer. He finally showed up, I scooped up Gizmo so he wouldn't dart outside and let the man in. I closed the door and set Gizmo down and he CHARGED the delivery guy!

He must have poofed up the 3 times his normal size and went running straight at him, skittering from left to right and jumping into the air with his little kitty arms spread out like he was going to give the guy the hug of death.

The delivery man starts to squeal and he's backing up to the counter and practically trying to crawl on top of it to get away from Gizmo. He's screaming, "Oh my god! Oh my god! What's he doing? He's so aggressive! I've never seen a cat like this! Why is he so big!?? Oh my god!! AHHH!!!"

This whole time I am laughing so hard that I am crying. I'm trying to tell the guy that Gizmo is -totally- harmless but instead I can just sputter out, "Sorry, sorry!!" between giggles. I pick him up and the man goes running out the front door, all the while Gizmo is trying desperately to leap out of my arms and chase him down again.

I put the cats in the bathroom and waited for them to bring the machines up. I hear him come up to the door but then it's quiet.. .and there's a tiny knock... the guy peeks his head inside and looks around and then says, "Where's the killer cat?" I was laughing SO hard, I told him he was in the bathroom and that it was safe to come in. He creeped inside and hooked up the washer, the second guy came in and hooked up the dryer. I could hear them whispering about the "crazy guard cat" in the laundry room.

Suddenly Gizmo starts meowing from inside the bathroom and scratching/banging against the door. The guy jumps and goes, "Jeeeesssuss!! That cat is an aggressive little thing!" I said, "He's just REALLY playful, he sees you guys as giant mice." I don't think that made them feel better. *giggles*

The man asked if he could let him out of the bathroom because he just had to get one more look at him before he left. He opened the door and Gizmo darted out and lept through the air straight for him. The guy made a run for the door and Gizmo chased him down making crazy little "chrrrrr" noises. I picked him up and let the men out.

Sorry this was so long but I thought it was hilarious. I don't supposed Gizmo is used to visitors... hehehehe...

Here's another little picture of something like what he was doing, except his little kitty arms were spread way out and he was running at the guy:

My favorite animal (non-domesticated) is probably the wolf as well, very majestic and beautiful.

Wow, what a beautiful cat..
-
I've always wanted one, yet my parents didn't like cats and just recently moved out of my house...I'll probably have to get one soon.
They're so cute

Well... neither of these are MY cat, just some pictures I found online. I've yet to get any pictures of Gizmo developed yet. *pout*

Just for the record, the cat in the second photo is called an Abyssinian <sp?>. If you ever decided you want one, now you know what it is

Jezebel: Your cat is really cool, and somehow he looks like a creature from the game Black and White! Must be his standing posture.

My favorite animal is rabbit. I like to feed cabbage to some of the wild rabbits that hang out around the university. Because I don't have a pet, I always go there and feed the rabbits when I feel down, they always put a smile on my face.

I hate cats. Can't stand em. Their unloyal vain little bacteria spreading creatures.
I've lived with them but never personally owned one. I've met ONE cat in my life that I liked and I didn't have to live with it, so that's probably why. Besides, my fiancee is deathly allergic to cats. So, as far as cats go.......ain't happening around here.
I own a dog however. Dogs are loyal, loving animals that will literally lay their life on the line for you.
My dog is only 2 1/2 years old and she weighs over 200 pounds. Her name is Cona (Cona Gold) and she's a big beautiful Traditional Mastiff. The best dog I've ever owned and I've had a few. Her paws are literally the size of my fists. When people see me walking my dog they freak out because she's so big. Little do they know that she's the sweetest thing on earth. She's never even snapped at anyone. I've had her around kids other animals, all kinds of stuff and she always keeps her cool.

She's one of the greatest woman I've ever known.

Take it easy,
MDM

Thats quite the story Jez!

I love fat mellow cats. Like mine! He's like a big warm fuzzy teddy bear. Doesn't have much of a name..well, his real name is Miles, but we've never called him that. He gets called everything from Fat-Ass, to Pooh-bear.

I've got a 5 year old 100lb pure bred German Shephard puppy. She's a big baby.

Uhm. We have two fox outside in cages. No, their not friendly nor tamed, yes, they'll attempt to bite off your fingers. We've had them for years. My dad use to be in the fur trading business until Silver Fox fur wasnt worth diddily. Thats a different story tho.

We have rabbits. And chickens. tho neither are really pets. We have a gender confused hen. It rarely lays eggs.. and uhm.. it tries to crow with the rooster. Wierd, eh?

Oh, and we have ducks! I love ducks. Ours are like old men that waddle. Anything that waddles is damned cool in my book.

My top favorite animal doesnt exist. It'd be a Cat-Dog. Tho with the miracle of modern science and geneaology..... nevermind.

I think thats it. Yes. I'm sure.

Awseome story Jezebel.....I love cats...they make for the greatest stories. That is an adorable rat Socar! I used to have hapmsters....they were the coolest! They had an entire playcenter of colored plastic loops and stuff connected to their cage. I also had bunnys for 4-h...but they got too mean! I think the pet I want right now is an iguana....I love lizards!
