Well.. it's a preliminary concept character drawing.. I'm still working on the design..

I love your drawing, I also draw anime. Since I have only been drawing for less then a year I still suck, I also have no time to improve. Sad

But yeah! It gives me a Final Fantasy feel to it, and that is good be cause those games are the best games of all.

Very nice. One comment, and one question..

Comment first, Looks perfect to me except for one little tiny thing..are those goggles up on her head? If so, unless they're upside down..her poor nose is gonna be -all- mashed in..such a pretty thing tooo..

question!!
..those just different colored col-erase pencils or something of the sort? Tinted in photoshop? what?

Fireburnspaper> haha actually that thing on top of her head.. I just put it there cause I thought it would look cool right there.. I guess it's pretty worthless if it's not usable.. I guess I'll try and change it or something..
the coloured lines is just a photoshop trick. ;D

anyways.. i noticed some errors in the drawing.. so I plan on doing another one.. with the redesign... here's some attempts at the colour that I made..

Can't say that I have, whats it about? But I love the changes Smile

I'm a real big fan of FFVII, but I also have FFVIII hanging around in a box. Hahaah. I'm not good enough to draw characters on an angle, I can but to a degree. They just don't look right to me. I need to know how to draw like you ^_^,if you look I have a post of one of my quick sketches of a mage. I like photoshop, but the whole 2 years I have used it, I have neglected the brush tool (Unless I was making scattered cherry blossum effects). Also! Those green things on her suit under her breasts remind me of the EVA suit from evangelion Smile

Another good anime.

Hmm I think it would benefit you to draw other things besides anime.. learn.. basic geometric forms.. and then learn how to apply them in your drawings... proportion is also a key issue.. hmm.. there's many tutorials online.. .. some names.. Greg Vilppu.. he has a whole online thing about drawing.. and he has a drawing manual too.. though I've never seen it.. Bridgman would be another guy to check out. Andrew Loomis? I thought his "fun with a pencil book" was pretty interesting.. He makes all these wacky faces in that book, with different shapes and volumes it's quite interesting.... hmm maybe that helps?
