really nice looks like him too.
here are some crits: you messed up the ear a bit and the uppperlip is to fat at the ends that's. I have to say that I like the shadow tones very much.

you got the mouth absolutely perfect.. the nose is a little odd (I cant put my finger on what it is abotu it tho....)
but the crows feet and the mouth are totally him. great job. |

Thank you for the kind words gang. The nose was originally really dark and hid most of the detail... I lightened it up and I guess I never was very happy with it either...
Please clarify on the ear... Is it the color you don't like or shape?
Also, anyone that paints portraits: do you use texture brushes when doing skin for fine detail or do it all by hand?
