so i enrolled in 15 units of art courses this semester...talking about time consuming!! i have 3 semesters to complete about 10 courses in art..and 10 courses for GE's in order to enter as a art major.
have any of you done anything similar...im gonna need some advice on how to survive this..i mean im willing to bust serious ass. but 5 art classes seems pretty crazy to me, it will definitely help me on time management, discipline. but i have some doubt when i think of it... |

May just be me, but if you love art and can survive what I think is the worst taught class in any school (Art History)... you'll be fine . |

i'm actually about to graduate, being a studio arts major. the most i've done in one semester is taking a photography class, a drawing class, and a painting class. i generally took 4 classes a semester and 3 were art classes. its tough, but manageable, once you get into a weekly schedule it works out.....good luck with it! |

It *is* a lot of work. I just came back to my parents' for christmas after busting my ass for almost a month finishing up final portfolios. The stress made me literally sick... but then I had slacked off almost all semester and it really caught up with me.
This might sound kinda obvious, but I find to-do lists invaluable. If you make them up, print them out and stick them next to your computer (or wherever you're most likely to waste the most time) it's a really good work reminder. And it's fun to take a big marker and scratch the hell out of them when you're done!
That, and don't procrastinate. It's not fun to have to cram 4 portfolios into 3 weeks of time, plus two exams. *shudder* How did I ever survive? Good thing it's winter break...
Good luck _________________ Under communism, man exploits man. Under capitalism, it's just the opposite.
