gestures:
Comments would be appreciated.
spooge, if you are reading this, I tried to do as you said and slow down. I still struggle with my concentration though. I can't seem to keep up my concentration for very long. These any better than the last ones ? |

Keep em going.!
I think they are a bit better than the last ones but you are still not accurate with your drawings. Draw more what you actually see and not what you think is there. Especially the arms and legs look like you haven't paid much attention how they really look like. When you draw keep comparing your drawing with the modell. It's hard to get the right form down with just one stroke,--> to make it easier for you you could start drawing very carefully and soft just to have a rough scetch of the modell. This way it becomes easier to orientate when drawing details and the correct form with stronger lines. Don't hurry too much. Think before you put down the line.
I think spooge mentioned it also: you could concentrate more on a part of the body instead on the whole figure, which gives you more time to be accurrate.
Don't pay a lot attention to the faces, in fact you could leave them away completly.
I like the last one the best -great feeling to it. _________________ marek |

Hey silber, thanks for your reply ! Sorry for being so late with mine, been busy with many things - work, art school application and the like.
You are certainly right with what you say, concentration is my No. 1 problem. I was trying to concentrate more on these, but in the process I lost the view on the whole form.
There was another session since this one, I think the drawings improved yet another bit (even though some still failed). I hope I can post them on the weekend.
Thanks again.
How are you ? Have you sent your application to art school yet ? |
