Some people like to paint beautiful women...but I prefer LETHAL ones! This was a very fun cover I painted for the upcoming PDF-format RPG sourcebook "Means of Murder" from Heyoka Studios ( www.heyokastudios.com )

This is a detail of the image:

For once, she looks nothing like me! *snf* My ego is crushed.

Wow. This piece is made all the more disturbing by its casual setting . . . I mean, before you really examine the details it's just someone in a hammock in a forest . . . but then you see her face, and the spider, and those gnarled feet . . . truly creepy.

As usual, I love your foliage.

Very nice! Socar you always do such great trees, in the best tradition of the classic European landscape painters. Beautiful.

Really wonderful. She looks like a dangerous woman. I'd try to be her friend, or stay away from her.
The landscape is great. I'd like to be there just to see the place. Although... if there are spiders and lethal women maybe I'll think twice about it Wink
I like the lighting, is very smooth and looks like the middle of the morning.

If you accept critics, I think there's something wrong with her legs, like they should be switch, I mean, the one we see forward should be behind the one that is bahind right now. Blargh, I can't write properly Confused

Anyways, it's wonderful. Very Happy

Very nicely staged, and I like the use of color too.

It's kinda hard to see the spider. I didn't know it was there without the zoom in. That hammock looks like it's pretty high up, I need a hammock like that.

makes me think of my ex, except for the whole looking nothing like her part, but the "trying to kill me" part is painfully similar Wink

Hi! A beautiful piece of art--I've always been a fan of your work, particularly the background scenery (and of course, the rats). This one has great mood to it. As mentioned, though, something about her feet looks a little off...just a minor detail. The coloring is well done, too. Do you paint with references, at least for this picture? I could never paint folds in a dress so well as that without reference. I can't wait to see some more of your work...keep em coming!

uhh awesome! Smile
I also really love the way you do trees and plants, they look so good!
Her gesture is also really well done!-sooooo relaxing.
hmmm my only crit would be that it's kinda hard to realise what she is holding in her hands, but I guess it's for purpose.
Though I would seperate the glass and the spider colorwise little bit more from her chest.-me would do that, not that it would be better .
