there are only 4 games in production that I am looking forward to, Thief 3, Deus Ex 2, Duke Nukem Forever, and Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the earth. it's cool to see you worked on it. In general I very much like the atmosphere and the design, but I feel that the spike/thorn type structure go a little too much for with a more modern, sadistic type of horror (like a clive barker-ish) rather than the forgotten civilization/mystical cosmic forces that are terrifying in their scope and in their foreign design (not because they are so covered with the sort of spikes you'd think barbarian raiders would use). Still the overall mood and architecture are quite good.
PS- I really love the second one.... |

as previously mentioned, the third one is great as hell. or at least as good as it gets on this earth, ha. if i remember correctly the old ones liked geometry that didnt quite fit into the human mind as it should. it had dimensions that was strange to the eye.
ive tried to draw some cthulhu inspired artwork myself, and failed. i just couldnt get the correct lovecraftian feeling to it, and that you have somehow nearly accomplished on the third picture. kinda reminds me of "at the mountains of madness" (which by far is one of the best thing lovecraft ever did) _________________ Det som en gang var r fralltid borta... |

Very nice, I love the darkness of these. They feel very at home in the lovecraftian universe. _________________

Actually the third one doesn't impress me much, but the second one does.
Nicely done.

thanks everybody!
these concepts are more for palett and atmosphere than anything else. some will probably be used in game though.
flushgarden: of cource I remember. I usually check your posts here and at lumental. Headfirst is nice. Ive been doing concepts for a new project for a couple of months now. just painting away!
