I remembered one year I bought several bags of chocolate for treat-or-tricking, and when the first kid came to the door, I decided to run away with all the chocolates and left that kid high and dry. That happened when I was 16. Yes, I had to stay at the house and deal with the kids at 16.

Going one Halloween as myself was interesting, had to repeat what I was to literally every household I went to. But I get plenty of junk food!!

I climed into the sewers with 3 friends when I was 15 and we walked/crawled under the streets for most of the night using only our indEgLO (spl?) lights from our watches to find our way around. When we first climbed down we were totally spooked by all the echos down there and figured that "SOMETHING" was lurking down there. By the end of the night we took great joy in the knowledge that WE were that "SOMETHING".

Truely in the spirit of Halloween.

Note: Bad timeing almost resulted in me loosing my head to a station wagon when we tried to get back out. Just a word of warning if anyone decides to try this sort of outing themselves this 31st. Look, listen, feel first and THEN lift yourself out. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

halloween isnt really a prevelant thing in australia. But our little corner of the neighbourhood decided it was just a water bomb, pistol, egg battle. The battle was waged across aprox 6 streets and went for the entire night. We armed ourselves with an arsinary of water bombs, bags full of eggs, big water pistols with the water storage backpack thingy and a few lollies stashed away in our pockets that we collected from POW's. It was crazy, i can remember one instance where we were ambushed by these 'older kids' that had established a turret (water bomb launcher)ontop of their concrete fortress (house). And we ended up having to resort to more heavy weaponary in the form of their hose (which was like, on the ground in their front yard) - we kinda had to run after that aaaahhh memories

I had my first big migraine headache on Halloween when I was seven, and I kind of lost interest in the holiday after that . . . weird how something like that can have such a lasting effect.
