YAY!!! We FINALLY set up our record player (ie. mostly me, with my boyfriend (who shall remain nameless unless he decides to get up and tell you who he is))...*sigh* all this because of a measly War of the Worlds album...took us a while to figure out why no sound was being made (YES...everything WAS turned on).
But anyway. I can FINALLY listen to a bunch of artists that I LOVE who we don't have on CD. Some of John Prine, and Meatloaf and Jimmy Buffet and stuff...
I'm happy. And I'm someone who isn't 30 years old...rather under 18. And I appreciate records. Rare. As far as I can tell.
blah. I just needed to say something.
(*AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! my sister is listening to the SPICE GIRLS!!! WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE HER BIRTHDAY????*) _________________ ~Gio

It's okay. Interesting, to say the least. He was looking for it for ages, and I found it for REALLY cheap. As in $1.00 cheap. And that's paying extra. I spent the last of my $72 on it.
The downside is that now you have to walk really lightly when you're playing a record or else it skips. But at least we can listen to good music that either isn't available on CD or that we don't have. And I can play games and listen to music at the same time. _________________ ~Gio

Cool about the record... not so cool about your boyfriend not wanting to admit who he is. Thats a little... odd?
And yeah, War of the Worlds is awesome. :] _________________ My Art.

I dunno if he wants to or not, but he's SHY! If he wants to make himself known, he will.
I'll give you a hint, though: he's registered at the forum and his username is 7 letters long. _________________ ~Gio

OO! OO! I KNOW WHO IT IS!
I like it when records warp. They remind me of taco shells. _________________ QED, sort of. |
