just decided to do some classical archtype characters. the first is a female archer/ranger and the second is a paladin. hope to do more soon. my tablet comes in tuesday so finally i'll be able to make corrections to them.

paladin (not quite finished, may shade with marker later)

Nice. something about the ranger doesn't look right. Can't put my finger on it , could be her left upper leg or/and how she's holding the bow, something about the angle of the arrow...Butt i'm probably wrong

Both are pretty good, but i like the second one better, probably because of the cleaner rendering and the nice contrast between the bright and dark parts of his armour.
now, i might be wrong on these, but there are a couple of anatomy problems that i spot on the archer- the first being the hands: they are both the same size even though one is closer to our viewpoint than the other.
The second problem (again, unsure) is her right thigh which seems slightly too long. |

The paladin reminds me of Steiner from FFIX.

Nice work on both! I really like the inking, but like the other person said, there seems to be something wrong with the perspective or something on the ranger.
I think the back leg looks like it's too big for where it is positioned in the picture |

Yeah her right arm isn't pulled back far enough...like mentioned above its the same size as the left one.....screws up the perspective

thanks for the replies ,people.
on the archer , i actually spent hours trying to get the other leg to look right, and after i as done with it, it made the other leg look way wrong. my tablet comes in tuesday, and i'll make adjustments then. as for the arms, i think pulling the left arm further back, and maybe making the right hand bigger might fix her, as some of you have said.
