Which/how many of you registered during the forum downtime?

I noticed a huge influx of like, 150 people even when there was nothing to post.

FESS UP! TELL ME WHY YOU DID IT! NOW! "FORUM ELDER" DEMANDS IT!

I was one of the original members.

I left for a good while, because this place turned into little more than an international episode of 'Jerry Springer'.

Fights, fights, and more fights.

True to that. And if you take a closer look, that was the primary reason the place was taken down - to let things cool off. What was actually done, that would have required this place to be down as long as it was?

Well, I think I should write this for anyone who wasn't around when things got so bad that Dhabih had to take the forum down.

Basically, there were people that were inconsiderate, mean, immature, and turned this place into a warzone. It got even worse when people choose to reply to idiots trying to pick a fight instead of just ignoring the person. There were also newbies that were not only acting in the above mentioned manner, they were also flooding the forum with artwork that really shouldn't see the light of day(at least not until they've practiced for a few more years). Yet, they demanded critique and got upset when it wasn't too flattering.

Anyways, nothing's been fixed yet, since Dhabih is in Africa, and he opened this up just so we could post while he's away. Expect some major changes as he promised when he gets back.

We really shouldn't have to bother Dhabih like this. We should be able to police ourselves to behave like mature, kind people.

Let's give Dhabih a big surprise when he gets back. Let's show him that we CAN behave, and we don't need to put the burden on him to keep this place running smoothly.

i registered as soon as this place opened for posting again.
before that i lurked for about a year...
don't really know why i chose to register at that point... it seemed fitting somehow... time to get in there and bring about som happy thoughts i guess

it could also be because i managed to come up with something halfassed enough that i dared to show it to you guys
