C & C appreciated
here is a line drawing that I originally roughed out while sitting in a hospital waiting room. I liked the flow of the sketch, and decided to refine it:
I liked the line drawing so I decided to color it in PSHOP, isn't that nice how this art thing works out...
I'm going for a looser style that mimics a more painterly feel... do you think it looks ok????
I'm trying to expand my portfolio, with more varied work than I normally do... I want to get people interested in me, and I guess I'm in that stage where I'm experimenting with everything... it's friggin tough!!!
thanks everybody!!

i love it GC! though having done such a beautiful job on the linework kinda disapears after coloring the piece...you should add the linework to your portfolio as well
man oh man its still hard to believe that your a mouser...do you work on layers? im always trying new ways on coloring...do you set the layers on multiply or what? |

Wow, Bob! That looks fantastic. I like the crazy pose, and all the materials are rendered with such care. Very inspirational!

Don't belittle yourself like that. You're not a looser. Your a winner!

if he is moving forward the flag (wimp?) should fly backwards with the wind |

Very cool! I'm not sure if the background is working. Is it a cemetary behind him? The background distracts a bit from your nice painting on the character. |
