I know, I also posted this picture in the "Draw Club September" - but I need every feedback I can get, and since the draw club thread ist not really often visited I post it as an own topic .... hope it doesn't bother anyone
Okay after the first pic of me in the WIP board (which I gave up) I started a new drawing, this time I made the sketch in traditionell way - pencil and paper.
This is scaled down to 25% percent
The Sketch:
The Lineart (Photoshop with pencil 7 hard edged, freehand):
Okay and the final picture (added the color for the hat):
I wanted to colorize the whole picture but I just don't know how. Every time I color a sketch I can throw it away afterwards, it looks like done by a baby. Any good advice how I could start to colorize this picture (with lineart oder without lineart? what about shadows? and stuff...)
Okay like I said the last time: Just say what you want to see, I won't feel offended or attacked!
Thanks in advance,
Johannes

Looks good so far.
I realy like it.
I did a little paintover to show you how to color it.
Hope you don't mind...
Alright, first you should clean up the linework.
Delete the pencil strokes.
Then add a new Layer and turn it to multibly.
On this layer you can add color with the airbrush without deleting the black linework.
After you added the colors flatten the image to one layer.
Now take the doge/burn tool.
To swich between doge, which is to lighten up, and burn, which is to darken, just press Alt.
Yes that's it.
Here's the first version.
I added the color.
The second in which I used doge/burn to make shadows and highlights.
I hope I could help a bit.
