hooo another self-portrait. I like it. You have those anger fire holding inside.
Watch it can't hold any longer. You are going to explode....
Chinese fire work. |

i like the intensive colors, especially on the lips. They work well with your face expression. |

It is good, but the comic like colors have too sharp a highlight... It makes you look like you were carved out of plastic-- too fake. Pardon, if it was the style you were hoping for |

Well now, when exactly did you turn into a zombie monk, Sire?
The dark colors and the face expression of your char (complete with a somber gaze) make him look like a serial killer or at least like a crack addict, dude. I can hear him saying "This is the river STYX and I shall be your merry ferryman!"
Oh wait I'm crazy maself, just forget it already. |

Wow, I like this one alot.
Reminds me of the style from that Bitmap Brothers game The Chaos Engine, though I doubt anyone remembers that game now.
Anyway, nice work!

Yeeeez I do. You always had a NPC runnin' around with ya and you'd fight togetha against loads and loads of pixel maniacs. Does anybody remember POWERMONGER, while we're at being nostalgic? Somebody should do a remake of that super1337 tacticZ gam3. And what about DARK OMEN? Damn that was the best. The fightings reminded me so much of the epic battle scenes in LOTR, long before they made a movie of it. Charging your brave knights into the back of an orcish horde and watching 'em being slaughtered on their flight in sheer panic was sooo frickin' cool. |

You guys are talking about the old glorious Amiga days! At least my mind goes back there when I hear about the Bitmap brothers.. wasn't their first game XENON, on the A500?
Do you remember Deluxe Paint? That was my first graphics program...drawing images, 1 pixel at a time.. with 16 colors... wow, that was awsome back then. |

Deluxe Paint, of course! Tried it once though. I loved to program moving sprites on the A500... damn that was cool. I dunno why I never got any deeper into programming, maybe that's exactly my sorta bag. Hmm. |

thanks guys for the comments.
About the "plastic" look.. It was on purpose. But its more rather just doing somethign different than having a smooth face. I Love volumes and shapes. Its somehting im working on. And To make some of these unnessesary ridges and effects where part of me expirementing in taking things a different direction and making shapes.
But hey.. im glad if you like it the way it looks. |
