I am now a member of Lumenthal as well as here and I would like to continue posting on both. I am in this for the art and not the 'he said she said grade 5' crap. I don't see it as an 'elite' forum, I see it as a new outlet to help improve my artwork. I even made a joke about it in my first post there Anyway, thought I should post the info here myself before the wolves got wind of it.

It's just sad when someone feels that they half to justify themselves for posting in another forum. I have refrained from commenting on all this Lumental bullshit but now I read this and I feel compelled to break my silence. I mean come on! I am not saying this to you, Fallen as much as I am to all the people here who made you feel like you are going to get flamed for posting in both forums. I think everyone just needs to calm down and get back to talking about art which is why we are all here in the first place, right?

Congrats. I think if anyone wants to rain on your parade it's because they're jealous. But who wouldn't be?
Everybody is being way too meladramitic about this. I bet that if someone who was complaining about lumental being a bunch of elitists, was all of a sudden invited there, they'd shut up real quick. The truth is, they've made it a great learning environment and a really good place to get some exposure. I'm all for it, even though I'll probably never get invited there.

Besides which, I can still "see" work on the new place, even if I cannot comment on it. Which isn't all that bad of a deal, compared with not being able to see your work at all.
