Here is one of my more recent works. I want to go back and work on it a little but I dont know were to start, any suggestions?

while the way ancient approached commenting on ur pic may seem a bit rude, i dont disagree with him. he doesnt look too great... if you copied him from a manual or something i wouldnt recommend it in the future. Learning to draw from anime is not the way to go. anime artists can draw anime well becuase they know how to draw normal stuff well also... you must learn the basics of form/compostion etc. before you can truly create your own style or emulate a style sucessfully. your pic lacks a light source. his face is wacked out. whats up with his pirate arm band? you have potential... but this isnt working... goto life drawing classes, read up on color theory, and observe lighting in your everyday surrounding and ull be ok. btw expect harsh crits on this board.. there is extreme talent on this board so some people dont have the patience for anything less then godly, hehe. cya around and dont quit!

Ahhhh finally got my new computer on the net!

Ummm ok now to comment on the pic....

You need a little depth in there, so try experiemtn with shading. Also I think that possibly the pec on the left of the image may go down a little to far.

And I dunno if the character is cross-eyed but your drawing is.

Your image strikes me as though your still learning. So... keep practising and don't be afraid to experiment. Just make sure you backup the picture at certain stages so you can go back and play around again.

Keep going with it, but maybe this should of gone into the "In-progress" section as it seems to be a work in progress.
