In the immortal words of Swan from MadTV,
"She look-a like-a man"
Seriously though, the crotch area is too wide and bulgy, and without the benefit of large breasts to add femininity to the upper body, her abs wind up looking over- defined and manly.
the second character looks more like she's ready to kick some ass, but she also looks like she's on some heavy steroids. |

That's synj's way of telling you he cares.
Well that, or he tea-bags you. |

I couldn't help but draw the changes. Just an all around boost to femininityness. nice legs, normal breats, etc.. I tried to keep her somewhat 'strong'. Teh costume changes aren't really anything, just my own laziness.
Hope this helps show what they mean. You've got mad skills for your age, so I know you can handle anything.
(oh and if you want me to take this down cause it makes you mad or something, just tell me, not everyone like a paintover / redraw)

You know, the funny thing here, is, that I thought it looked cool that she looked really buff. Let's be honest - a real female warrior that would actually stand a chance against your random warrior would most likely look like one of the top two girls rather than Isric's really cool version.
Slender legs, big breasts, and large hips aren't exactly good warrior qualities. Having your boobs -not- protected in battle, as in that latest version, would be incredibly painful for a girl. Not only because they'd hurt with every running step you'd take - but they'd be seriously in the way.
I think it's interesting to see something break away from the stereotype. A buff, big girl that could actually beat someone up, instead of the "oops, I broke my nail" version... If the guys in these games are HUGE and muscular - definitely steroids blokes - then why can't the girls be?
Just my personal opinion, though, which I know is worthless because boys like to look at curvy girls in their computer games ;] |

Enayla your ofcourse absolutly right. Fact is that most of the female cops, that deals with much smaller tasks than the warrior ladies on sijun forum will, do looke like she-males. Or atleast they are often very pumped. In reality you wouldn't want a cop-girl poseing in your art class. Nor a female security guard. Nor a G I Jane. They seldom look like Demi Moore.
But ofcourse Isiric does have a point. I rather look at his pic, than the original. Specially in quake univers were they are no such things as buffed girls.
Michelangelo drew anatomicly correct and beautiful "superhumans" all his life, until his final days when he were bitter and drawing judgment day, then the figurs started looking like most humans do.
I have no final point, just ignore everything I wrote. |

i disagree i'd hafta say
there was this party and a pretty big dude was knocking people over to fight someone and theresa was the only person who could stop him and did it almost instantly. she's tiny, and he was pretty big.
i'm not huge either but i've taken out enough people bigger than i was or buffer you just have to know what to do its not all brute force you know especially when you have armor and a GUN hehehe

I know what you meant Enayla, but I was just thinking of design from the quake companies background (what would they want?) |

I think it's pretty good, try a few more attempts at this character and she'll evolve into a pretty solid figure i think... I do not however like those things on her legs.. those big thingies that just seem to be way to awqward |
