this is another experimental piece i've done recently. i guess i've seen too many cubist works these days.

-no sence of space
-no emotion!
-simple colours

yours would be "formism" hehe

I have to agree witht he above, If you loook at the cubist works done by Braque and Picasso, you will see that although your stuff looks like Picasso's, it really isn't truely Cubist. The main thing aobut Cubism is the use of non-eucledean space. Tha basicially means you can't tell the foreground from the background or the middle ground from any other ground in the picture. Your piece however, has a definate foreground, middleground and background.

Sorry if I come across as attacking, it's just that I do think it owuld be really kewl to see some more modern and post modern art in here, but as long as you know what you're doing.

And for reference, I believe that the cubist stuff was by Braque and Picasso in the period between 1907 and 1914. I hopefully know this, considering I studied it in the spring.

Good luck on developing a truely cubist piece.

hey thks guys
i definitly need more knowledge of art history. hehe
recently i got this huge text book on art history of the 20th century. haven't have a chance to read it yet.
i guess i'll have to start reading it soon.
you talked about "formism" there, daniel.
what is it? can you explain a little bit more?
