Hahah! That was hilarious Loxley! Your comedic timing is stupendous! You're one seriously admirable man.

Now, while I have your attention, please take a bite out of this log of shit I'm currently squeezing on to your face.

Godwin, it lacks depth/contrast. It all seems rather flat to me. Play up your shadows/highlights MUCH more. You want that helmet to seem spherical, not flat. The cracks are fine, but I think there are far too many. The helmet looks like rock.

I like the composition, and would like to see you push things further within the piece. Try it, what have you got to lose? There is always the "undo" button when you're working digitally.

Loxley, judging from your past posts i can see that you are honest in crits, which is good. However, rather than simply stating something is bland or terrible, why dont you try to be constructive. Your critique style is useless without offering ways the artist might improve what he is doing. All you are accomplishing is making the person in question feel bad about his art, which for some newbie artists can be fatal. This isnt a flame, and im not trying to start some lame thread war. I just think you can be more mature in your approach to critique.

Godwin the picture's coloring itself is quite good. The only problem is that you won't recognize a face in this picture. Maybe for yourself you'll see the face because it's your character, but to us it's just shapes. You need to add recognizing features of a face, for the average crowd to immediatly pick up what they're seeing.
