Just a little project of mine ... not for anything commercial. It's a female character for a futuristic Quake-esque setting. I started sketching in pencil, but I can get frustrated trying to visualize every angle in enough detail to model accurately in 3D.

Instead, I did my "sketching" in 3D, with plasticene. It took me all afternoon, and by the time I set it up and took some photos (badly!) I guess I spent about eight hours on it. BTW, it's about 25cm tall.

What do people think? A worthwhile excercise? Or a piece-o-crap?

Cheers, A.

Cap' the surface points into your 3d proggy of choice and you got yourself one soon-to-be-badass playa model. Well done.
