These take all too much time compared to the end result, I know. Planning to do ~150 more - hopefully this won't turn out like the 500 paintings project .. Anyone got any tips on how to achieve iron discipline ? I spend far too much time playing on the computer instead of drawing with it ..

Say something ?

I'll have a full harddrive, a sore hand, and burnt nerves from getting them back from every publisher in Finland, I guess.

Nice ones!

If you want to do a 150 of those, I fear you are putting a bit to much detail unto them. At least that would have been to much detail for me to do a 150 times. The more time you spend with your pictures, the more time you'll have to get bored of them. Boredoms begins, discipline often ends.

In order to get discipline I guess there's only one thing you can do. Work... as in actually work. Sit down and do what you are supposed to do.

Oh... eat regularly and drink enough(Alot!) water. Water is good for you. Anything that detracts from your concentration(For instance being hungry or thirsty) is bad for you.

I hope that with these amazingly insightful truths of life, even I achieve discipline.

Best of luck, to ya!

These are freaking awesome. I love the visual as well as the humorous aspect. It would be sweet if you could do all 150 with that much detail but I hope you don't give up in frustration...
As for the discipline question....delete all the games from your computer...I know it's a hard step to make but your art is great and deserves that commitment

love the first one. Both rendering and humour
-disciplin? I think that works only with pressure or a strong wish to reach something.
Good luck!

Looking good there, rock on.

Getting drunk enough not to be able to play games or irc or anything helps me to actually get something done. Of course that sort of tends to degrade the quality of my drawing, but hey, can't have everything.

hey, dude, don't bash Estonia As much as I hate some stuff here, I still love some stuff aswell. But concidering how much the Finns are mocked here, I guess it's only fair you throw a few jokes at us aswell

Aside from that, love the comics. Nice characters, great rendering. But I have to agree that if you are going to make a lot of these, you probably should cut some of the details ...
