Okay I was going through a bounce of boxes throwing out stuff and getting ready for a gerage sale in a few weeks when I started coming across a ton of stuff I had forgotten about that use to be really big...
- Tomagoshi - Giga Pets
- Furby
- Jem and the Holigrams - like a Barbie doll with blinking ear rings
- Moon Glows - I think that's what they were called
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- VolTrons (?)
- RollerBlade Barbie - with sparking rollerblades
- BraveStar Action Figures
I'm sure I can go on... I haven't gone through all my brother's boxes yet.
Anyways, have you found stuff like this and wondered what happened? It was such the BIG thing when it came out and now you ask someone about it they are like "What?"

I had a lot of Thundercat toys that are gone, but I wonder if anyone still has them out there (which I am sure there are). Such as the sword Lionell had (it was not the long version). Also the Thundercat vehicle (forgot the name, anyone know? It was a big cat). And the plain action figures from Thundercats. Those were my favorite, among He-Man and Ninja Turtles. *Teer runs down face*. |

My brother didn't have Barbies... the boxes were full of both our toys.
Okay now Transformers were like Power rangers of our time?... dang that makes me sound old! I remember a cartoon of space people/machines that combined into one big thing... and I had said that when the Power Rangers came out that that was an old idea... already done. |

I think there were over 100 of those kind of cartoons (cars turn into robot, robots combine into a bigger robot) in Japan. Just like Double Dragon-clone games and hair metal, they all have disappeared. |

Jabberwocky, Some of those things are still available on EBay...and some get some really hefty prices...You might want to check out what you have and see if there is a market for it.. I will always remember the He-man series...Teela, He-man=Adam, and his really cool sword that actually said I am the master of the univers...lol, Battlecat=Cringer Castle Greyskull..but I cannot remember the little floating fella's name..;( Anyone know? The floating ghost from he-man was called Orco. But skeletor was always my favourite. Does anybody remember a cartoon series called brave starr? I used to think those were the coolest toys ever. |

There was something called... Jace and the Wheel Warriors?... or something such like... err... it was about some kind of cars with growing things on them. It sounds really psychadelic, but I was rather young when I watched that - can't really remember a lot of details. Anyone else saw it?

Molecule man, are you talking about Automan, the tv series?
Hey, remember CAPTAIN POWER?
Where you could shoot the tv when a light flashed on screen with your toy spaceship/gun and score points? That was an awesome idea, but sucked in execution...I'm sure it will resurface when hi-res tv get more popular.
Remember Black Star? Where the good guy (Tarzan/Conan knockoff) and bad guy had 2 halves of a magical sword? That show had, hands down, the dumbest looking, most annoyingly voiced sidekick I can remember.
I can't remember his name.
[ edit: found picture of stupid sidekick ]

Anyone saw X-OR ? One of those bazillion anonymous good boy like the Power Rangers & Co. The difference being he was alone and silver. Oh he also had a really nice mecha-dragon (I was young!).. Aahh.. the times of cardboard cities and foam suits.
Thundercats rocked. I saw some episodes again not so long ago and was really disapointed lol ! I'll just keep my memories of this really cool and inovative (cough) cartoon in my mind.. And how I used to grewsomly hack tru snowmen with my super flashing-icon-in-the-midle sword !
- Cats-eyes anyone ..?
- What else.. For the europeans : The Chadocks
- Saint Saya / Les chevaliers du zodiaque (one of the BEST cartoon I've ever seen in my youth)
Shadow-X- : Same as Power Rangers but individual robots with an animal theme, right ?
Enayla : Yeah I know that cartoon ! used to give me nightmares with those monstroplants thingies. The main antagonist was rather nice tho. *sings the theme, but in french. eek*
Man I feel old...
-ege
edit: eh well spelling n stuff.
