heh.. this is getting funnier all the time! Been painting so much lately that I have almost forgotten how great and how much fun I had doing these b/w illustrations... I'm having such a ball!

Catchy theme, and good practice material. Personally I want to see more fresh, unexplored medieval character themes! I loved that early Beast & Beastmaster pic! (was it Morbid Guy?)

And Rhomb, thanks for the Ink brush, works much like the standard round PS brush. And btw, your fluidity is real classy.

Very cool stuff everyone. I thought I'd add some colour to one of these. Not sure how happy I am with the result but thought I'd add it anyway.

An image I was inspired to draw while listening to queen of the damned.

Boom - freakishly cool skeletons. You've read your Mignolas alright.
Daniel Chou - the third one with the strange grin is my favourite of those three.
Silber - powerful looking stuff. Nice shading.
Kyri - I think those colors fit perfectly.
Dan - cool goggles.
Torstein - glad to hear you found it useful. Really great mood and values on those, especially in that assasin pic.
oDD - that's not crap. More please.
Big Jay - nice looking face.
Lizzard - simple but effective.

This is not quite medieval or portrait for that matter but it's b&w.

I really loved that steps graphic one of you guys posted earlier. I'd love to see more of those if that's possible. That is very helpful and interesting I think.

well, off to my piece of sh*t.

great to see this thread is still alive... though it has slowed down abit. Let's give at kick, shall we?

Here's another little thing. It's a sketch of a constuct that we faced in yesterdays roleplayinggame session. For those of you that have no clue whatsoever of what a construct is, here's a few things...

Constucts cannot be stunned! Constucts cannot bleed! Constucts ignore A and B criticals. Constucts turn C criticals into B critcals, D into C and so on. This one had more than 400 hp and offensive bounus above 120 with both weapons. To say the least a very impresseive and freightning opponent. But a member of our party succeded in takeing this beast down with a single shot of a magical arrow. Chances for a shot like that was 1/1000. To say the least we were all abit in awe... What a great evening! Rolemaster is tha best!

oh... almost forgot about the drawing...
,Boom

Awesome stuff in here, guys/gals. I wanna get in on this. And I will when I have some time.

Baby Jesus - I really like yours. The grotesque, leathery quality of the skin is cool. Reminds me of the cutscenes from the Thief games.

WOW!! I've been away from the boards for a while and just dropped in to see how things are going. This is one of the best threads I've seen in a while. Unfortunately I don't have time to do a new piece for the thread right now. Trying to finish my comic related projects in time for the San Diego Comic Con. Anyway, here's an older piece till I have time to do a new one.

There is some mind blowing work in this thread. Keep up the good work everyone.
