This is a project for school. Me and some people out of my class have to design some new form of bodyart. I decided to experiment with the texture of the muscles in a tattoo. so wat is inside you see on the outside. It is very experimental so i hope you guys could give me some crits and comments about it.
thanx, blok

I think it is a really cool idea. The only thing with the pic, though, is I would have it curve with the arm. The bottom of the "tattoo" is a straight line, but it should curve with the flow of the arm.
If you get any of your friends to volunteer for this tattoo, I would love to see the results. I don't know what it is like in the Netherlands, but here in America, those tribal tattoos have just about run their course!! It would be great to see a new form of tattoo!! |

I've actually been playing with an idea like this for about a year as well. Nothing too serious, one or two sketches for it a while back
My take on it was to have the tattoo show the skin kind of peeling back, or tearing away in some manner to show the muscle underneath. Keep us posted on this idea cause it was something I thought was cool, but don't have the talent or knowledge of the muscular system to properly execute |

reminds me of when I was a kid...I would draw tears in my skin that revealed mechanical parts. |
