this is my first time doing this kind of images...this was done using Photoshope...i used to pen tool to outline the picture and coloured in everything...its a picture of natalie portman..

nice subject. the thing about it is this. dont' just outline it and try to color over it. this isn't comic book/coloring book stuff. to paint is to draw and color at the same time. focusing on form and color. i see that all your proportions are there but your drawing lacks the definition from original entertainment weekly cover. just define it more. and use more colors and definily more tones. this belongs in the wip section.
