holy crap that looks nice
the values are pretty rad, though it's kinda funny the thing that caught my eye was its 'wattsatelier' look. now im talking outta my ass coz ive never taken their class, but you might know what i mean if you've seen fredflickstone's studies and the dude who runs the place.
i dunno if there is anything for me to critique, maybe a little care with line and line quality?
i love the definition and structure, and it looks great in this case (nice hunky male), but in your other pictures and particularly with females it feels like their features could use a softer, less 'chiseled' touch.
btw are you left handed? |

Looks awesome! Is this from a model? I'm just asking because it seems like the typical superhero/fashion model face. It's not usual that you get live models that look like that.
Also, what medium did you use? It looks like brown pencil or conte?
How long do pics like this take you?
Great stuff!
EDIT: I can see a lot of Ron Lemens influence in your other sketches. Did he teach your class? He must be a great teacher to have.

This is really awesome, I dig...
The only problem I have with it is that the entire side of the head looks rather flat. Maybe a couple highlights on the ear would fix that? |
