wow really nice atmosphere. I don't really know what else to say it just feels good. The little squirrel guy is probably my favorite part he didn't have to be there but I think it adds a lot. Nice cute little dude.

Nice to see you still lurk, Blitz. If I'm not mistaken you're the football player? Have you done many of these elfin/fairyesque images before? I don't recall. My apologies...

I'm assuming you're looking for feedback so I'll share a comment or two...

When I first opened your image my eye was immediately drawn to the character looking into the trunk which I'm sure is your main focus. However the rhythm line that begins with his hair and runs through his forehead, continues through the tree trunk and ends in his forearm at the back. I found that somewhat confusing and at first thought that the trunk/forearm area was his nose. Maybe reworking the trunk a bit? Also, popping the glow on the bottom of his nostrils along with defining his skull and hairline more (temple area), I think would help define his face better. The squirrels head seems a bit flat, but if you lose some of the mist emanating from the trunk, I believe that would help pop him more...?

Of course these are my suggestions, but I've learned that it always helps to have an extra set of eyes or two to help work through a piece. If you disagree, you may also tell me to go shit in my hat...

Nice work and nice composition IMO. Good to see you post again.

nice

I like the use of cold and warm colors really puts that extra attention to the charecter looking into the trunk well done.
