First off, before we go off and scream at how horrible I am at this - I'm drawing with a ps/2 OLD trackball. So yeah.
Next, I know I'm bad at drawing, but I just picked up this hobby and decided to give a shot.
Any comments and crits are absolutely welcome.
This was my experiments with dodge and burn. :/ Not quite as good as I hoped it would turn out. I noticed that the tail was extremely off in perspective and the humps didn't follow along right. Also some parts just are too light and don't look right.
Oh - sketched in mspaint, cleaned up and painted in photoshop. This took about 3 hours. A waste, I'd say.

Next comes my fun with illustrator. Sketched and finished in illustrator alike.
It was just one of those days. I drew a girl, she looked sad, and I threw on a little poem on the bottom. This took like a quarter of an hour to half an hour.

And last and definetly not least is my favorite. Sketched once again in MSPaint, and painted in photoshop. There are 2, a large one w/ a background and a small one w/o a background. *shrug*

That one took about 2 hours. Or maybe even 3. I'm not sure. But I like that a lot. I don't think I ever do anything to match it again. *sigh* Oh well.

yeah. the girl has a great style, and I think you should find some tutorials and stuff about animestyling, and comicart.
just keep on.
