i love the colors on this one, it looks like oil!!
may i do a comment:
i think that the composition is a little confusing maybe because there are some issues with the perspective that it's not the same for the boat and for the temple on the right but anyway it's a lovely picture.... keep on the good work... how is going the battle painting??

Gil Agudin, yeah, perpective is all messed up in this, I still have to find the vanish point there hehehe so I can make the horizontal planes looks paralel and I dont have any idea where to begin with!
Well, I decedied to leave the battle as it is.
BTW, I saw your "Beach" pic, Man, I dig your style a lot, believe me!! Sorry I didnt comment it cause Sometime my english writing is so poor to comment that I am afraid to be missunderstood. |

Very nice, but confusing. It looks like a representation of a dream, very surreal.
Is all of this painted?
I really like the woman holding the cup of coffee/tea and the birds are beautiful. |

I like it, so many beautifully painted elements. It's true the composition would be hard for a picture of this complexity, but it's full of wonders if I just focus on one thing at a time.
Is there a story behind this? |

ELLioT, thank you. Some colors are a little too saturated I guess. thanks
Novacaptain, the original img was painted at 8000 pixels size, its hard to see all the details in this resized img. I used a lot of patterns and texture I created in photoshop to give this organic feeling of it.
Hunago, There is not a history for that, I used to paint surrealism in oil on canvas and I like this oniric feeling, Photoshop6 and its patterns and textures are an invitation for me to do some surreal work digittaly sometimes. Thank you for your comment, glad you liked it. |
