Ok, the discussion was getting huge, so i thought that i'd continue it on here for some dumb reason. My question is, so what type do you prefer in men/women?

I myself, am a non-typical 18 yr old asian male. And yes, I tend to follow the trend of blonde haired, blue eyed girls. But I have noticed that the girls i scope out are not barbie dolls. My first gf was blonde, blue eyed, and we're friends to this day, after breaking up 5 years ago. Then came an indian girl, nothing like a blonde, blue eyed girl. She got scary. we broke up 3 years ago, and i found out last month that she was salking me. And now, I am in this flind with this yes.... dirty blonde, but brown eyed girl. Kinda odd though. she isnt really skinny, she's more buff than yours truly, and i am skimpy. I dont mind, it really is her personality I like. I sometimes consider myself to being the one beaten by the 'ugly stick' in this north american community of white people. Meh, just my two cents.

I like brunettes, because I know that chances are they aren't faking it.

I like beauty, character and intelligence, in that order.

Really large breasts look very unnatural.
Implants are just abhorrent.

I don't give a flying **** about a girl's haircolor or skin color or ethnic type - I've seen enough to know that any conceivable combination you can think up can range the gamut from pug-ugly to Goddess of Beauty.
About the body, the same thing - I love muscular girls, thin girls, fat girls (as long as they have a waist), short girls, tall girls, sun tanned, pale, whatever... as long as she's got this 'je ne sais quoi'.
Don't like the breasts too big though, always feel like that'll get in the way of the lovemaking. On some girls it looks almost painful and I feel sorry for them.

The girl I'm with right now is the total opposite of what I'm usually attracted to (She's blonde with big boobs....., but she's into MST3k, Spaceghost, and has a smile that lights up the room. So it's all good.

I like redhead girls with glasses. But now I'm seeing a blonde girl with contact lenses.. so I guess that works for me too.
Other than physical appearence, the girl and I must share one or more common hobbies, say, comic book obsession and art gallery hopping.

Actually, I'm joking. My boyfriend is a penniless theology student. I look for respect, confidence, and brains in a man. And a nice shiny bald head. Or long hair. Or a nice shiny bald head with a fringe of long hair around it. Or a crewcut. I like crewcuts, as well. Anything but a mullet. I'm not so fond of mullets, although I wouldn't rule out a guy with a mullet....

I tend to go for intelligent people who have an interest in theatre, music and other such things, but with a good dose of the girl next-door type (the sort of characters Sandra Bullock usually plays).

I am very attracted to people who have playful personalities who I can have fun with and good conversations (strangely enough I’m a shy person who loves to talk).

Having similar interests also helps.

I have a preference for red heads and blondes but I prefer to base my opinions of people on their personality rather then their looks.

I think Elizabeth Bennet from Jane Austens Pride & Prejudice would be a good example of my type. (Intelligent and witty, with a happy go-lucky personality).

well, so far, the replies have been pretty good, on par with what I expected including the jokes and all.
So here's another deal with me. The girl I am trying to currently hook up with, well when we first started talking, I was really hesitant to talk to her on ICQ because she knew i had a fling for her, but she didnt feel the same for me. So Instead of talking akwardly on ICQ, she sent me one of those long email surveys all filled out. So i found out a few things about her, and I filled it out and sent it back to her *obviously*.
This was as far as I could tell, an obvious way to get to know me better on her behalf. Anhoo, here's the leadup to my next question.
I read that she likes a lot of korn, and such hard rock groups. I myself, like them also. I used to listen to Nirvana and the Smashing Pumpkins, and I've recently gotten into Tool and Deftones and such. So when I replied to her, I put a lot of those bands down even though I dont listen to them on a regular basis. So I feel like I am lying to her, even though I do like that music, and I am kinda showing a side of me that isnt that dominant.

Qusetion : Do you tend to catch yourself changing small qualities of yourself to impress that special someone?

I know its bad, but I am finding myself to do that subconsciously. But I know that once you get to know eachother, your similarities and contrasts dont really end up mattering if you really like eachother.

I've always loved raven haired dark eyed women but I've never been into blue eyed blondes that mucj (there are exceptions to this though)

My wife is a natural brunette but is now auburn haired and her eyes are dark blue and she's beautiful no matter her hair/eye color.

physical: brunette or redhead, petite but curvy, nice smile. Funky clothes and glasses a plus. More "sexy" than "cute".

mental: non-religious, curious, creative, honest, ocassionally absurd, sarcastic.

Those are my ideals, but I'm flexible

I love it when girls show an interest in art, even if they aren't artists . . . and I tend to avoid full-on party girls . . . I'm not the kind of guy who can go to three parties every weekend. And drug use or excessive drinking will turn me off faster than naked pictures of Bea Arthur.

I found the 'Perfect' Girl and shes mine all mine!! hahahaha.. er.. uh..

shes about an inch shorter than me, sandy colored hair, oh-so-big blue eyes, great body, and she is the sweetest girl I have ever met.. sometimes you can just tell when a person is just putting on a "nice" show... but she doesnt. she just automatically is nice... even when shes not thinking about it.

Im so in love with her its pathetic.. Im whipped.. but I dont care.. Im happy with her.

oh and she always always smells soooo good.
