The progress was made on the eatpoo forums, and I'd still like to score some comments and crits here.
Main struggle: the spots of light obviously.
Thanks for any remark you make!

really cool with the shirt's shadows. If you asked me the main lack is in the color contrast, its pretty flat in most areas, might help to give it some good contrast and really bring out some depth. |

Amplitudinize the warm vs. cool color struggle in the forground, especially on his shirt and face! How's that for a craaazy groovy critique? |

More boobies!
uh ... you know, those birds? Not that they should be in the jungle, I just like them. They're funny.
Like everyone else said, more contrast in the foreground guy, just don't forget about reflected light. Maybe darken the "interior" of the rain forest some too? |

Thanks for all your comments. And yep, I've lost a lot of contrast when working on the shirt and tree. And the compression doesn't do it justice either...
Good remark!
But I've had it with this picture. I played a bit with the contrast, and the blue of the sky, and it looked better. I'm still doing this for myself luckily, and I think everyone knows that point when you feel like you've gotten the most out of it. It's just practice, after all. |
