Hi everyone. I'd like to show you two traditional media paintings I did. These are watercolor on Bristol board. These are the first two paintings in this style.

The first painting is a little girl painter. Shes painting a picture of her family. The second depicts a little magician. He meant to pull a rabbit out of his hat but got a turtle.

I appreciate any comments or crits.

Yes, real nice. It seems like you might be dwelling on profile shots, but then that seems to be working so well here, they look like they go togethor, like in the same book. Very good. Makes me think of so many poorly illustrated childrens books you should have been working for instead of the taffer that was.

Thanks for looking. Yes these were intended to be profile shots. They are kind of inspired by Norman Rockwell.

The pics I did for my portfolio to try and get some work illustrateing childrens books. This is the first place I have shown them. I'd like to do illustration like this but I know its a hard field to get into. Whats funny is I use to draw comics professionaly for 8 years, this is a change from that. I also sculpt which I really love to do.
