Mind you, I like philosophy but an artist has to doodle. Here are a couple of pages on the back of my notes.

so much life in your poses and faces. like the one guy shooting the fireball, and the one next to him levitating the rock. not much linework there, but you really captured the motion and action in those two. i just love your stuff man. keep up the great work.

thanks dudes and dudettes. it's always a pleasure to entertain!

MoleculeMan: how'd you know I was thinking of the Wheel of Time RPG??! It's not like those sketches are in the book or anything and lots of characters throw fireballs. I don't get it. It's like you read my mind! The game rocks by the way. I should draw more Wheel of Time stuff.

haha, i knew it . Its cuz those are powers listed in the books, and some similar illustrations too! (also the fireball from many other games arn't potrayed the same way hehe). I would run a game if i had the time. Sigh i need another 8 hours in the day [and another 10 square feet in my dorm (the periodic table in the place i had chemistry in last semester is literally longer and wider than my dorm room hhahahah)]

Oh well, keep up the good work!

That looks like a philosophy class well spent.

I *love* to sketch during classes. There's something about the hum of the teacher's voice that makes it really pleasant. I think because I'm half concentrating on the lesson and half concentrating on the doodles, it keeps me from stressing out.

Anyway, those doodles are absolutely fabulous.

Here's today's work. I think I'm gonna try and have something to show for each day. This could get fun. Man the pressure to sketch good stuff. You know how you can just have times where all you doodle is crap. You look at it and see you're no better than you were in 3rd grade. Doh!

hethebar, I love you sketches. They remind me of my own. We construct our figures in a very similar manner. And yes I have those days when everything I draw is just not right. What I do to get through it is to sit back away from the paper and shut my eyes. Then ask yourself what kind of artist you are and what you want your artwork to be.

Keep up the good work.

Todays scribbles were inspired by Fantasia 2 and Warcraft 2! Ya baby!

MrsButterworth: *blood and ashes... always insulted for being a shepherd*
Queezy: LOL. it does look like that. that would suck. it's even funnier the more I think about it.
Phil: post something in this thread if you want. or just email me something cuz I'd love to see your doodles.
KeLLuSioN: ok, I'm exagerating. maybe 7th grade. I sucked big time then.

Funny you should say that Jezebel,
I've always loved your work too. Ever since I've been a member. You render beautifully! Really nice stuff.

Philosophy class is finally over. Whew! (hard work). My computer's hardrive crashed this week so I've spent time reinstalling everything again but I did doodle in class still, just didn't have photoshop to scan them and put them up on the web. So, here's this last week's collection:

I like your sketches a lot.
They remind me of Isric's sketches.
