Hi again, this one i drew for a thread at digitaldecoy forum. I tried so many different types of armor, faces and backgrounds that I finaly lost the motivation to finish it. Please tell me what you think. Is there any way to improve it?

Hi,
Overall I love the painting, I think you could improve it by "bringing it into focus". By that I mean:
* the background is very blurry, which is fine and the character is in focus, but different parts of the guy are blurrier than the other. I think overall quality would improve if you make the character sharper.
hope this helps.

hi, i think this looks really good. i like your painterly style. the only thing that bothers me a little is the way the head attaches to the body. it just doesn't look natural. it seems like it needs to move a little to the left and be angled differently. otherwise, very good work. |

This is really cool.
I think I see what scooner was saying, if you move the head, starting from the ear and along the jaw line, (leaving the neck where it is) left and up a couple of notches, it might look more natural.
Sorry, dont have tools on this machine for a drawover. |
