I thought the first one was excellent, but the second blew me away! It has the whole "Adams Family" thing going on there. I love the way you have it going from lighted detail to creepy dark silhouttes. That is awesome.
In the first one, I'm not really getting the sense that the house is very 3D, and the outline on the large windsock kinda takes the impact of it fluttering in the breeze. Also, I know it's stylised, but the bushes in the foreground look a bit odd.
Otherwise, this is great stuff. Cool design and nice colours.

Howerver I think that the windmill in the second image would look more intimidating if you removed its frame. It would become more of a pointy thing and look menacing and sharp, u know?!

Nice. I love the style used in both pictures. The contrast between the cheerful-looking house and the ominous, brooding house is impressive. |
