Hey all. It's me again. Yeah, I lurk a lot. But I learn a lot from lurking! Anyway, someone of my fellow Sijun-ers have asked me why I don't post in here, and I usually come up with some stupid excuse, but today I'm feeling brave. This one was colored in Painter under the sketch. Some things are crooked, maybe a bit uneven, but I didn't use any tools to draw the curves (because, well, I don't have any big enough...remind me not to use huge paper next time). This was more of a study in landscapes and lighting than anything. Took about 4 hours total to finish the sketch; about 5 hours to color (and that's because I kept stopping to get snacks).

Some may ask where the intense highlight on her golden breastplate piece is coming from. Frankly, I don't know. But it looks pretty.

wow that looks great and i agree witht the highlights i mean it doesnt have to be logical as long as it looks good

wow, that's beautiful. i especially love her expression and carriage. reminds me of mucha. *drools*
i love how clean both the lines and the coloring more.

fantastic! I've seen your drawings and I love them all...this is so beautiful. the white river looks really cool. I'm especially enamored of the tree....oh wow.
