My first commission.
Low pay, right retention, solid brief, quick turnaround. Overall a pleasurable experience.

I like the second one a lot. Reminds me of scenes from my imagination while playing Dungeons & Dragons. I'm not afraid to admit my geeky past.

The mood is just right in that pic. And it's great the way the dragon's head is just breaking through the beam of light. Very cinematic.

The other drawings don't strike me as strongly as the second one, but they certainly are good pieces.

I want to show you something about the third pic though. Context is very important. So is a good sense of humor. And that pic, taken out of context is absolutely hilarious. I hope that you can appreciate the humor that I am about to spread around. It is in no way a stab at you or your art. You are doing a great job and should obviously keep up the great work.

I just always enjoy lightening the mood and making people smile (yourself included).

So here it is (scroll down).

the 3rd one is my fav, i really like the stylization of the cloth folds, and the spawn-esque curling cloak.
great shading!

the first could be good, but you didnt apply and perspetive to the teeth/mouth, just recently i got substansially better at doing open monster mouth (relatively speaking skill-wise ofcourse ) and i hate to see a good mouth vere off to a profile. if put into better perspective they could be realy nardly.

now that i take a second look at it , the perspective may be correct but there is just something that isnt setting correct in my mind, looks flat maybe?

just as a question how much (around) was the low pay for these ? (i would understand if you dont want to say, but just checking anyways)

The mouth is fine. It's the teeth that are a bit crooked. I'm guessing it's not supposed to be a supermodel so it's great anyway

Glad to see that you folks enjoyed that silly joke.

As the weekend gets closer, I often find that my sense of humor gets more and more abstract.

But for now, it's back to work.

Ark: don't make me smack you. i know where you live

Keto: Thanks. Yeah, the teeth have some issues. "you should've seen 'em before!" hehe.

As far as pay, i'll just tell you to go

to thier site .

I believe it's modeled after a Steve Jackson Games paradigm.

DKimblad: Dang... it's supposed to be Elle Mcphereson's dog. better rework it. hehe.

Radiater: yeah. now i just have to figure out what i'm gonna do come April 15th.

Ratt: i'll be watching your threads... alllwwaayyyys watching.

Hi!
I think this "stuff" is great. In a few years
you'll be fantastic!
I most like your composition with Dr.Death
bowling. (very original) and the "snaring"
monster.
I look forward to your next post.

(don't worry about low pay at first)
Once you get the experience, you'll be rolling
in money.
(remember, always do what you love),.....
and the money will follow.

Bigfoot: thanks. I hope to finish up a few more pieces this week that i've been kicking around and post 'em.

Demetia: tell me about it.
I'm seriously thinking about printing up some T-shirts, make a team, and join a bowling league.

oh, for the record, i got my check today!
Steve's been great to deal with.
