Here's a race portrait for a human male.
I may have to give it elven ears and make it into a half elf because the rest of the team doesn't think it's fitting for the human male portrait but instead they think it would make a good half elf.

Really Cool Raist!
I like the colors. The only thing that stands out to me is the right ear. It seems to be sticking out to far. But besides that, I think it's a pretty tight illustraiton.

I like it, the fur on his coat is really well done, and the tattoo on his face adds variation. The thing that amazes me is that you can totally see the climate of the region by looking at this guy, his nose and ears are slightly red, and his eyes are not wide open because of the cold wind.

Yay! Another character concept from Raist. The fur around his collar looks very real and his hair looks superb.

Only crit is that while the forehead, nose and the stubbly areas of the face look rough and masculine, the cheeks, IMO, don't have the same roughness. I guess that depends on what race he is, too, since elves and probably half-elves will have smoother features.

nice pic, but his ears are very strange. huge and pointing outwards, my ears don't do that! ^^

for him becomming a half-elf, i would stretch the face slightly.

Ahcri: Thanks man. Yes you've guessed correctly about what the climate is like.
I was not consciously trying to make him look like he was cold but in the back of my mind I was thinking that he should be wearing furs because of the cool climate he's from.

Highfive: Yeah that's another thing that doesn't make him a contender for a male human race portrait. The smooth skin is would be more of an elven feature.

I going to try the elongated pointy ears and a slight skin color change and see how that works for for a half elf. I may keep the face shape the same so some human features show through.
