(Disclaimer: I have little to no merit as anything... anything I say should be taking with a grain... no... a cubic foot of salt... Take that to mind.)

Hehe... the first one reminds me of Shrek...

The first one, I feel, is a very cool depiction of... as I said... Shrek.. You got a great feel out of the picture for a quick work. The bright red dragon catches your eyes and then you follow the fire breath across the painting to the figures... some nice composition in that... Although the lighter grays in the sky seem to distract me from the main work... they just keep going back to the big bland area... Maybe making the sky a little darker would highlight the main stuff a little better.

The second one is quite nice although I don't know about the formation of the smoke... However, again I'm getting distracted by the lighter grays... They keep pulling me away from the main thing... The rocks on the left are quite nice and point you at the center of the picture, highlighting it... but the light grays seem to destroy that... I would have almost gone witht he over all shading like that of the sky... light around the mountain and getting darker radiating outward... Because it would have highlighted the mountain... Speaking of the sky... The sky is awesome... The progressive effect done so "simply", but very appealling to the eye... I'm not exactly sure about that sandy colored thing on the ground... it seems to point you at the volcano.. but also distracts you...
I think maybe a better defined light source could have helped here.... Because at first glance of the rocks on the left, and the mountain., it appears the light is behind you to the left... But.. the sky and a few smaller details seem to show it coming from the horizon and a little to the right...

The Third one has some great feel in the style... again... I love the strokes in the sky... The lighter blue probably wouldn't be there in the sky so close to the moon but it does look cool and draws your attenton to the horizon line and the tree... The tree is beautiful... again.. the style is very cool... although the small dark figure on the dark ground is really not seen... Making either him or the ground lighter would have made him stand out a little betteer if the picture was in any way about him... Putting the light highlights on the right side of him where all the light is coming from also probably would have helped... Moving him upward so that he breaks the horizon line would have also worked really well, as your eye is already drawn to the line by the lighter colros, and what better way to make him visible than to put him where your eyes are drawn... And yet again... the grays are throwing me off... I would have either reverese the tones on the ground (Light middle where the guy is standing and darker o the forground hills) or maybe just darkened the foreground hills... because dark usually acts as a better "frame" than light... although doing the reverse can also produce very cool effects...

I think that's about all I've got to say... remember... a block of Salt a day keeps the Gill away...
