hey all. i'm not sure if this goes in progressing or finished art because their sketches, i have no plans on finishing them so. anyhow these are the first works i've done since i got my wacom (week), i have a long way to go but i'm happy i'm going. later.

heh i like that character design. i never used a wacom b4 so i dont know how hard or easy it is to work on but u seem to be establishing art's basic rules which really are what make an artist an artist, not some kinda pad or whatever. art is in the mind ...ahhh u damn kids these days never listenin to grandpas stories arrrr! heh anyways i like whatcha got so far, kewl lightin and shhtuff |

Umm... I know im definately not as good (yet) as evryone else here, but I do know this, art (in the losesest sense of the term) has no rules. Its about being creative, and creation, my friend, has no boundrys or 'rules' to follow. |

true zeerox my friend. art is to me about being creative, and just loving what you do...doesn't matter which tools you use. but i think vegeta was refering more toward "conventions" of art, not so much rule. the basics of composition, lighting, etc....which i'm definately not great at yet. hey, but i'm learning. anyhow i can't speak for him, this is just how i excepted his statement. |
