Hello all you artists better than me!
I am the newest newbie posting here at the moment... not for long though. You guys draw a lot of attention.
Now, down to business. As I promised, no nudity in this picture. (I figured that that title for the post would get more attention than "Hey! I'm new! Would someone look at my art? Please? Pleeeeeaaaaaaase? Aaw, why not? Come on! PLLLLEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE?", which I seem to see alot.)
This was painted in Photoshop, on a graphire, from a photo reference. Although I consider it done, (mostly because if I play with it anymore I know I'll screw it up), but if anyone feels generous enough, nitpick the hell out of it. It's my first painting without "cheating". (painting directly overtop a picture). Working time was around 4 hours. I don't know if I'll get better, but I hope I get quicker.
The picture:
And the original sketch I made of the picture, for no particular reason:

thats a really nice overall piece i got a few gripes but i always do so dont get sad heh. and i dont have many about this one which is strange cuz i nitpick the hell outta drawings! first off...her jawline goes a lil too far back shed look more feminine and realistic if it curved more upwards...also the arm looks a lil weird it looks indented. but like i said i really like it alot i like the soft colors and the pose is really nice...very kewl! |

Hmm... It looks very cool! At first I thought the face lacked detail/contrast... but I just remembered how "classic" Chinese can girls look. So, yeah... I think you did a great job. Perhaps the shoulders could use some more work? |
