I like the texturing from the brush work, it looks pretty cool. You did this in Painter right? You need to do something with that background though, the flat black is just killing it for me. It is really sketchy in some areas and you have all these static points around his head and ears that are really distracting. All the black on the tail is a bit distracting too. Your lighting is looking a bit inconsistent too. If it is coming from behind him then that coat would be casting a bit of a shadow on his neck, but you've got the light hitting the neck. If the light is more above him then you'd be getting more of it hitting on his coat tails I'd think. Not to mention I really have no clue how any of it got to the front of his coat. His face makes it look like he has a flashlight concealed in his coat pointing up at him. I'd also would think with that lighting where the shadows are would be pretty intense. Well that is my 2 cents at least, I like it! |
