errm Ive only just stepped onto this forum and well to say the least im very, very, very, impressed. my jaw hasnt come back from the floor yet. so I thought id show some of my scribblings and say Hi.
Im a 3d character modeler (wannabe) and am in desperate need of better 2D skillz. so this aparently is the place to be.
so thats some of my art, who I am and Hello.

hey. i can't really comment on the 3d, cuz i know nothing about it.. but i thought i'd mention that i like your 1st rhino drawing a lot. the 2nd one's body is a bit cartoonier, and doesn't match the head as well, imo. but the first one is extra nice. i think you should try and actually draw the hand (hoof?) on that, rather than just letting it fade off into whatever that is he's holding. a lot of people let limbs fade off at the ends, which is a bit of a cop-out, and doesn't really help you learn to draw hands & feet.

Hey Reaper,
I realy like your first 3 drawings the best! Nice lines. I think that the shaded portrate loses me a bit. It is stiffer then the rest and the shading is not great.
I also like the 3d guy. Mostly the textures.

Tans for the replys gys. its most appreciated. Im hoping to improve vastly over the comming year so those hands will finally be drawn in (you spotted one of my weakness!) Im hoping to be doing some painting in the not to distant future and will be posting that as soon as I can. so if you want to see more crap from me keep em pealed.
I have reel admiration for you both as your art work is very strong also. so thank you for replying to me.
