You keep bring up your little post-editing thing in an attempt to incriminate Death Delivered, but hilariously, you never addressed any of the evidence I produced. How do you explain Craig complimenting him? How do you explain his other incredible backgrounds? How do you explain that the picture you think he "copied" looks nothing like his finished product? You're a simple, simple little boy.

Craig himself could post and tell you that you're a moron, and you'd still insist that you are right. You're a hopeless case. Like I said before, it is people like *YOU* are the reason Sijun went to shit. All of the real talent gets scared away by idiots like you that take blind shots in the dark at them. Hey man, no problem. I'm glad to voice my opinion when it comes to something like this.

I know that it is your art that was targeted, but I find it frustrating as hell. Like I said, it is little kids like this that drive all the talent away from here. You being a perfect example.. because of this little goof you are questioniong whether or not you should post here anymore. Frankly, if I were you, I'd pack my bags and take off. No one needs that shit.

There isn't anything worse than pouring your heart into a pic that you end up quite happy with only to have it utterly insulted by someone who quite obviously has no idea what he is talking about.

I try to be mature, and I try to just ignore it, but it's like this annoying little thorn in Sijun's side that just won't piss off. Grrrr.

Heh, anyway, to summarize, you're very welcome Take it easy, and keep on producing kick-ass stuff. Even if you don't post here, I'll see it on some of the other forums and be there to uphold the law and protect your art from evil! heheh.

Looks good DD. My only crits come from a stylistic viewpoint. The central near ocean seems to be a little low on the light reflections. Maybe add some hotter highlights into that patch in the center bottom. It's lookin kinda matte right now. On the rocks on left, how about some lighting? I know hte sun's on the other side, but maybe some reflected light? Just a thought. The character could use some more form definition internally-ethe highlights that are on him are incredibly dark, and don't help to read the form. Just a hair lighter-after all, the rocks around him are well illuminated. If DD were really copying Craig's Tarzan pic he would have had that definition in there hahahaha ;]

I've been gone from Sijun for a month or two, remembered having left an intelligent group of people where the worst problem was the occasional newbie who thought they could pass off ripping off other people's artwork and calling it their own.

Now.. what the (#%& is this crap? You squabble like little spoiled children! GOod God, if you have a problem, take it somewhere else, NOT here. If you have critiques, put it here. Case closed.

Quasar and Corn Pops - grow up. The fact that Death Dealer is an accomplished artist adds NOTHING to the fact that he DID change his post after realizing what he had said. And it's true, some small amount of copying may be seen in the layout, format, and style of the picture. Obviously it was an original, but you must admit that there are similarities to the figure in Death Dealer's picture and the one in the Tarzan picture. Maybe it's not a rip, maybe it is.. but the point still stands that ADULTS would discuss that fact like adults, not by calling names and swearing.

In this post Craig Mullins himself complains about similarities between one of his works and one of DD's.

I have no comment on this previous thread, or the posts above. However, Craig Mullins has been posting here a long time and has a large fan base here. It is therefore not surprising that based on this history, some people may find any similarity (real or imagined) as reason to question DD.

Death Dealer, do not mistake my post as negative against you. I respect and enjoy your art. I look forward to seeing more of it. My post is only an attempt to provide perspective to would be flamers and hopefully return this thread to constructive criticism.

I know this thing has been drawn out enough already, but I just checked this thread for the first time, I would like to add that, although I know Craig did not invent the silhouette, nor did he invent blue, and the combination of the two can be used by anyone, it is extremely suspicious that he said "Who's Craig Mullins?" when that last name hadn't even been mentioned, then quickly edited it out when someone caught his mistake... Whatever, this thread is weird. I don't remember ever seeing threads like this a year ago.

And don't rag on Optical too much, he has been here a long time, he's a cool kid and an important part of this community. He knows what this place is like and what kind of people there are out there. No, this picture wasn't a rip. He's not saying it was. But there's a person here who expects us to believe that he had absolutely no influence from Craig on this, when it's been clearly shown that he did and is trying to cover it up. That's all Optical is pointing out.

Death Dealer, there's nothing wrong with having influences. Deny it if you must, but I don't think anyone here will hang you for admitting you were influenced by Craig's work.
